ETC, Education, Teaching & Consultancy, supports the professional development of teachers and trainers in further education (FE) and skills across a range of educational environments. The role of ETC is to support professional development and excellence in order to deliver the best possible teaching experience to learners.

ETC prides itself on its ability to provide flexible tailored and quality solutions to suit organisational requirements.  As a fully Accredited Centre ETC can certify and advise on a vast range of courses.

Specialists from ETC offer Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS), the mandatory qualification and initial step necessary for those who wish to teach, train, tutor, coach or assess on any funded post-16 education and training. It also includes those who work on a one-to-one basis. This first step is required to becoming a fully qualified teacher.

Upon completion of the PTLLS qualification individuals can move on to become an Associate Teacher Learning and Skills (ATLS) with the CTLLS (Certificate) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) with the DTLLS (Diploma).
